It doesn’t seem like it at the moment, but fall is just around the corner, and with that comes youth sports signups starting in mid-July for the Rockmart Recreation department.

On Tuesday, the department posted fresh information on Facebook about upcoming signup opportunities, set to start on July 15 and continue on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through August 7.

FALL SPORTS! Soccer, Flag Football, Cheer and Tackle Football.

Registration will be on Thursdays 8:00-8:00, Fridays 8:00-4:00 and Saturdays 9:00-12:00 starting on July 15th and will end on Saturday August 7th. The locaton is 815 College Street Rockmart, GA. (old high school gym) PLEASE NOTE: Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the only days that someone will definitely be in the office during those specific times. We hope to have online registration very soon.

Ages: Soccer 4-14, must turn 4 before Sept 1st to play soccer. Flag Football 4 ,5 and 6, must turn 4 before Sept 1st Cheer 4-12, must turn 4 before Sept 1st Tackle Football 7-12, must turn 7 before Sept 1st.

Playing up must be approved by the Rockmart Rec Dept in all sports.
