The Cedartown Bulldogs have their biggest foe of the season so far ahead, and both teams are set for an epic showdown as an undefeated Cedartown hosts an undefeated Cartersville for what will likely end up determining the region title game.
Ahead of the game, the Dawgs have decided that the time is perfect for a blackout game.
The team will be donning their black uniforms and are encouraging fans to wear all black on Friday night when the Canes come to town to play.
Additionally, the game is being moved up to accommodate television cameras coming to broadcast the game live on Friday night.
Peachtree TV decided that Cartersville at Cedartown is their Game of the Week for October 18, and thus kickoff had to be moved up to 8 p.m.
This highly anticipated matchup pits the top 7-AAAA squads against each other in one of the biggest games of the week as both teams enter with Top 10 rankings in the state.
Cedartown is coming off a win over Dalton last Friday on the road and sits at 8-0 on the season. Cartersville enters the game at 7-0 after a shutout win over Allatoona last week.
