Signups are underway for fall sports with the Cedartown Recreation Department in several sports for local youth.
The department is accepting signups until August 6 for several of the fall leagues that will begin playing in September. Those include tackle and flag football, tackle and flag football cheer, soccer and volleyball.
Registration can be completed online at cedartownrecreation.com.
Volleyball is a new addition to the recreation league offerings this year, and teams are forming for children in the 8-and-under to 14-and-under range.
Tackle football is for youth aged 7 to 12, and flag football is for youth 5-6. All ages are welcome to take part in tackle and flag cheer.
Soccer additionally is forming teams for children 4 to 12.
Signups are taking place in person from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 605 Lynton Drive. There’s a $60 fee per child for signing up.
