The Cedartown Bulldogs had a rough weekend with a loss to rival Rockmart (see the Game of the Week coverage here,) but have bounced back and improved to 6-3 on the year as they continue in non-region play.
Cedartown took a 9-0 victory over the Carrollton Trojans on the road on Tuesday in their first road trip of the week. Unfortunately, a full box score wasn’t available online immediately for PSW to get a full sense of the game.
Xavier Holiday did put in a full six innings of work before being relieved by Samuel Formby in the 7th.
The Bulldogs are back in action on the road again today at the Bremen Blue Devils. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
Region play opens at home on Tuesday, March 14 against the Central Carroll Lions. They’ll wrap up the three game series on the road on Friday, March 17 to wrap up the stretch of play against West Georgia squads to the south.
