The Cedartown Bulldogs are still on a good run early in the season after tournament play, but did split in their Saturday games to go 1-2 for the weekend overall.

The Bulldogs took a 8-1 loss against North Forsyth on Friday evening to open the GA Dugout Club Tournament, but came back with a win over East Paulding on Saturday morning with a 6-1 victory at LakePoint in Emerson. Their final game of the tourney against Walton went against the Bulldogs, in a 12-2 loss.

The 1-2 performance over the weekend put Cedartown at 4-2 as they are still early in the season.

Cedartown has a short break before getting back on the field at home against Rockmart on Wednesday, March 1 followed by a Friday, March 3 homestand against Pepperell before a trip on March 4 to Rockmart in a return rivalry game.

They’ve got Carrollton on March 7, Bremen on March 10 and then get into 3-game stands in region play against Central Carroll on March 14 and 17.
