Cedartown and Rockmart both have felt the tail end of spikes over the weekend as the volleyball season is in full swing for the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Jackets.
Both squads were in Rome on Saturday for the Battle of the Counties tournament, where the Lady Jackets and Lady Bulldogs both took some losses.
However the Lady Jackets got further into the Saturday event, finishing off at 3-4 on the day after picking up wins over rival Cedartown, Coosa and Unity Christian. Rockmart took losses to Rome, Model, Armuchee and Pepperell on the day.
