Tuesday matches went Rockmart’s way as the squad improved to 4-3 overall heading into a showdown with Heard County today, and their home tournament this weekend on Saturday.
The Lady Jackets took wins on Tuesday over the Temple Lady Tigers, finishing off the squad on the road 25-22 and 25-18 in two sets to take the match, and then stuffed the Heirway Christian Academy Lady Eagles in two sets 25-7, and 25-12.
Rockmart’s week isn’t done yet.
Today they head to Heard County to face the 2-1 Lady Braves this evening with a 6:30 p.m. start.
Rockmart hosts the At the Rock Tournament and open facing Douglas County at 9:45 a.m.
