The Cedartown Lady Bulldogs are looking to find their footing this week after a mixed start to the year so far.

Earlier in the week, Cedartown split their opening round robin on the road with a win over the Cass Lady Colonels but a loss over the Temple Lady Tigers as the Lady Bulldogs notched their season opener on the schedule.

The Lady Bulldogs took a 25-15 win over the Lady Colonels, and a 25-20 second set for the Tuesday road victory. They fought to a 2-1 loss to Temple, falling in the first 25-22, but bouncing back for a 25-20 set 2 win before dropping the tiebreaker 15-9.

The Battle of the Counties tournament over the weekend saw the Lady Bulldogs take on at least Pepperell in a match. They fell 2-0 to the Lady Dragons with a 25-23, 26-24 loss over two sets.

The Lady Bulldogs are back in action after a break this week against Rome to open the At the Rock tournament on Saturday, August 19.
