Dawgs Barclay, Martinez and Neal all take offers for future careers and education
A trio of Cedartown Bulldogs will get the chance to play at the next level after they graduate with the Class of 2024.
Taidji Neal, Jameson Barclay and Edgar Martinez all signed the dotted line on Wednesday afternoon, April 17 during a ceremony at Cedartown High School where they made it official that they’ll be turning in the Red and Black for new school colors come August.
Neal made it known in early March that he had signed with Cumberland University in an announcement on X. He’ll be heading to Lebanon, Tennessee this fall to play for the Phoenix after a positive season and career with the Bulldogs.
Martinez and Barclay both are heading together to the same school. Luther College is getting the talents of a pair of Bulldogs who have played on both sides of the ball and provided leadership on and off the field.
Luther College – the Norse – are a Division III school in Iowa. They play in the American Rivers Conference, a group of schools in Iowa and Nebraska.
