The Cedartown Lady Bulldogs opened the volleyball season with a goal of getting wins under their belt, and at 1-2 heading into their next match-up against Model they have at least one victory on the year.
Cedartown took a 2-0 win over Woodland but fell to the Lady Blue Devils and East Paulding in recent match-ups.
Cedartown hosted the Model and the Lady Wildcats for the season opening round robin on August 13, falling to Model and beating Woodland on their home court.
The Lady Bulldogs went 25-23 and 25-12 over Woodland, and then fell in three against Model after opening with a 25-13, then in the next two sets fell 25-22 and 15-11 per head coach John Sheffield.
They put up a 3-1 round against East Paulding on Monday.
Cedartown is back in action hosting Model again on Thursday, and then have a break before they travel to Southeast Whitfield on Sept. 1, and then host Rockmart on Sept. 9 per the schedule available on Maxpreps.
