Frazier’s offer list up to 23 schools as former Bulldog looking at future after season ends

Zah Frazier went off to Southern Illinois University a few years ago after he graduated from Cedartown with hopes and expectations of a big career with the Salukis.

As it turned out, he ended up at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas to play for the Red Ravens. And now coming up on graduation, the interest in Frazier at Defensive Back as the squad dominates the competition during the 2021 season.

Frazier – sitting on the year with 14 tackles and three assists as the Red Ravens sit undefeated against all comers at 5-0 so far on the year – has a big choice to make at season’s end. Where is he going to end up?

The list continues to grow of schools who want to bring Frazier onto their teams to play. Texas Tech was the latest to add their name to the list now totaling 23 schools.

Division I schools that have offered to Frazier at this point include Charlotte, Georgia State, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana-Monroe, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Texas, Oregon State, Texas Tech, UTSA (University of Texas-San Antonio,) Utah, and Western Michigan.

Other schools that want him include where he started: Southern Illinois, but others have added their names including Central Arkansas, Chattanooga, Jacksonville State, Murray State, North Carolina Central, Northern Iowa, UT Martin, and Troy.

Frazier said in brief comments he hasn’t narrowed down his decision yet, but that he was excited by the prospects for the future.

He added for those who are looking at continuing their college careers after high school to consider heading to a junior college first.

“I trusted the process If I can do anyone can do it,” Frazier said. “Don’t let the JUCO stories scare you from coming to JUCO. Create your own path and follow it.”

Check back for more on where Frazier lands as info becomes available.
