The Rockmart Yellow Jackets are now rolling in the region with their second win under their belt in 6-AAA and the third on the season heading into a break after winning big over Sonoraville 68-7 to cap off fall break.

The Jackets put up 48 points in the first half over the Phoenix of a combination of big plays made on the opening drive and the offense coming up big on every single series in the first quarter.

The defense gave up the only score for Sonoraville late in the second quarter, but the Jackets didn’t falter and added 20 more on the scoreboard to finish off the Phoenix with a running clock.

Rockmart takes a bye week for this coming Friday before they hit the road for North Murray and the next region contest on the list.
