The Rockmart Yellow Jackets trip to Villa Rica on Saturday night had just about everything one could imagine: missed field goal tries, turnovers, touchdowns and more.

The Jackets – who picked up the Villa Rica game midweek after losing their rivalry game with Cedartown due to COVID-19 cases – moved to 1-1 with a 28-21 win over the Wildcats in a Saturday evening, August 28, 2021 match-up.

Of note, this was the opening game in a newly renovated stadium at Villa Rica High School.
