Bulldogs will face a tough test on the road in Thursday night thriller
Expect the Cedartown Bulldogs road to a big season to get slightly tougher in the days to come after two teams that were supposed to meet in weeks past are now back on the schedule against one another.
When earlier in the month the Bulldogs were forced into a 10-day break due to COVID-19 cases and they were unable to play their annual rival contest with the Rockmart Yellow Jackets, the quarantine came to a close and the Bulldogs had no time to practice before facing another big foe: Calhoun.
Now the two teams are set to square off on September 23 on their turf for a 2021 meeting.
Cedartown Football’s Twitter page posted the following announcement on Monday:
Cedartown lost the 14-7 contest on their home turf in the second game of the season in 2020. However, the Bulldogs are 17-2-1 overall against the Yellow Jackets from Gordon County.
