The Cedartown Recreation Department is starting their signup process for fall sports, and have an exciting new program to add to their offerings this year: volleyball.
Recreation volleyball for girls 5 to 12 (in different age groups for teams) will be launching this year and parents who want to get young ladies signed up can do so via Cedartownrec.org before August 7, when the deadline comes up for signups this year.
The recreation department will be practicing and playing in the gym at the Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex, along with gaining help utilizing space from the Polk School District for gymnasium and net use.
Participation will cost $60 per girl signed up this year.
Volleyball is the latest addition for fall sports from the Cedartown Recreation Department, which now includes flag and tackle football, flag and tackle football cheerleading, soccer and the Cedartown Dream League after their first successful season locally during the spring.
