There was no saviors for the Dawgs as they fell to Holy Innocents in the opening round of the Class 4A playoffs, bringing an end to a tough season for Cedartown.
The 84-37 loss to the Golden Bears on the road on Wednesday brought to a close a 13-16 season that saw the Dawgs finish at 3-7 in Region 7-4A, and a playoff berth thanks to region tournament wins.

Sonoraville and Central Carroll out of 7-4A both advanced in the next round to keep their seasons going in the playoffs. The Lions notched a 55-45 win over Southwest DeKalb, and the Phoenix won in a 78-61 win over Hapeville Charter to open the playoffs.
Heritage-Catoosa fell to Westminster in the opening round to close out their season in a 64-32 loss.
