Tournament play over a long weekend for the Rockmart Yellow Jackets saw the squad got 1-2 in play that began on Thursday on the eastern side of the state, and ended today after a double-header against a pair of teams.
The Jackets began their trip on Thursday in a game against Vidalia, which came down to a 1-run loss with the Indians carrying the day 6-5.
Rockmart then took a short trip to the beach on Friday before playing again on Saturday.
The Jackets finished off Milton in a 6-4 victory this morning to improve back to 3-2 on the season, but then fell to Locust Grove 10-0 to get their record back to even at 3-3 in their second game of the day.
Rockmart is back in action on Wednesday, March 1 on the road against Cedartown, host Jeff Davis on March 3, and then play at home against the Bulldogs again on Saturday, March 4.
