An 11-1 Lady Jackets continue to dominate on the tennis courts this spring, taking down every comer in region play in 2024 so far.
Emma Scott swept in a pair of 6-0 sets, Hadlee Caldwell swept in her single matchup with a pair of 6-0 sets, and doubles players Emma Barber and Madi Sanders went 6-0 twice in a row to defeat Gordon Central in their latest matchup on Wednesday.
Rockmart also dominated North Murray for a 5-0 run in Tuesday’s victory, Scott going 6-0 in two sets in singles again, Chloe Motes going 6-2, 6-1 and Hadlee Caldwell went 6-2, 6-1 in her singles victory as well.
Doubles victories for Emma Barber and Madi Sanders, plus Kylie Hicks and Peyton Elrod put the squad on a perfect run in region play so far.
Rockmart has Fannin County today, Model on March 18 and Cedartown on March 21.
The Lady Bulldogs are also coming over to play at The Rock on March 21 to close out the regular season.
Region tourney play comes up from March 27 and March 28.
