The Rockmart Lady Jackets have had the week off since winning over Cedartown last Wednesday, while the Lady Bulldogs have been busy racking up a pair of wins since Saturday.
Now the two squads are set to face off again as the Lady Bulldogs host the second of the annual rivalry series with the Lady Jackets and hope to improve to 4-3 on the season and even up this year’s record at 1-1.
Cedartown fell to Bremen 8-0 on the road on Tuesday in a Lady Blue Devils no hitter in five innings before the game was called in a run rule.
Rockmart with rest hopes to repeat their 8-0 victory over Cedartown last Wednesday.
First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. at Cedartown High.
