Cedartown High School celebrated a senior who is staying close to home following graduation, and will get to continue her soccer career.
Lady Bulldog Melissa Bahena will be close by in the years to come after she signed with the Shorter Lady Hawks for soccer scholarship the Rome-based University.
Bahena was joined by her mom and dad Carmen and Govanny Bahena along with brother Lenny and sister Michelle for her big day committing to Shorter. Teammates, coaches and friends also enjoyed the celebration at the College and Career Academy’s HON Room at CHS on Friday afternoon, January 19.
The Lady Dawgs defender will be joining the Hawks this fall after she graduates with the Class of 2024.
