The third annual Bulldog Bash brought out the team this past Friday night to enjoy an evening with fans, and to continue a tradition of lighting Rockmart’s mascot on fire during a pep rally.
Fans gathered Friday evening on Prior Street in front of the Polk County Courthouse to meet this year’s Bulldogs squad after their successful scrimmage on August 10 over Cass. Cedartown’s JV and Middle School squads also joined in the fun as well.
Before the crowd was allowed to go off and mingle, there was one last thing to do: burn the Yellow Jacket.
