The Cedartown Lady Bulldogs are the GameDay Cheer Champs for 2023.
Cedartown took the top spot for 3A/4A competition in Game Day Cheer – think the cheer squad on the sidelines of football games versus the Competition Cheer Squad, which features routines and music – earlier today facing off against others across the state.
Judged by cheer, band chant and fight song, Cedartown took the top spot with a score of 93.43 in the finals held today at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
They topped West Laurens in second by just six-tenths of a point who took second place. Calvary Day took third, and Mary Persons took fourth. Here’s the full list of where competitors in 3A/4A ended up.
The Game Day Cheer finals also saw Carrollton crowned a champ during competition at Georgia State.
